This is the inaugural piece of Artists’ Studio Tales, a series that intertwines the lives of female artists with the archetypes of classic fairy tales. The work features artist Els van der Graaf, reimagining her through the lens of Snow White.

Unlike traditional depictions, this series explores the artist’s reality, integrating footage of their actual studios and creative works. In Apples, the iconic fruit of the fairy tale serves as a bridge between the myth and Els’s own artistic practice, highlighting the "ripening" of a life dedicated to creation.
