Those Days, Today

This is an installation was exhibited in a western style building, called Yamate 234. Yamate 234 is an apartment house that foreign people lived in since 1927 to 1970 in Yokohama, Japan. I collected the pictures of the foreigners who lived in around this area since 1927 to 1970 from internet and books. I used magic mirror (a two-way mirror), and I put their pictures under the mirrors. So when the viewers would see the works, they can see the own faces, and notice the overlap each other the face of the foreigners.
